2025 State Leadership Conference (SLC)

Date: March 26 - 29, 2025 (Please note there will be competitive events starting on Wed, March 26th)

Location: Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons/Koury Convention Center

Registration Deadline: January 31, 2025 - All affiliation fees and RLC fees must be paid
in full to register and compete at SLC

Registration Fee: $85 per participant (t-shirt included)

*Middle school and Postsecondary/Collegiate division students may compete at SLC regardless of finish in regional competition

SLC 2025 - Hotel Information

Room Rate: (tax rate currently 12.75% but subject to change without notice)

Standard King or 2 Doubles: $163 per night plus tax

One Bedroom Family Suite: $225 per night plus tax (standard room with a small separate sitting area - may have pull down murphy bed) limited quantity available

Executive Parlor: $375 per night plus tax (you must also reserve the connected standard king room and the connected 2 Doubles room) Parlors will be listed on their own line - limited quantity available

All conference attendees are REQUIRED to stay at the conference hotel regardless of distance from home

In an effort to fit as many people in the Sheraton that we can, all spaces will be utilized. This means that student rooms could be in a parlor suite with sofa/rollaway beds.

We anticipate overflowing to an additional hotel so please send in complete, correct reservations that do not need changes as early as possible.

Deadlines for Submitting Your Rooming Lists

o Wednesday, February 5, 2025- Reservations Open: lists received before this
date will not be processed
o Wednesday, February 19, 2025 – Reservations Close: Any lists received after
this date will be accepted at the hotel’s discretion and based on availability.
o Thursday, February 20, 2025- Submission for Rooming List Changes Open:
Changes sent before this date will not be processed. Please consolidate changes
into one email per week. Multiple emails per week might cause confusion and
incorrect changes to be made.
o Friday, February 28,2025- Final Day for changes to be submitted that will
impact the total on the original invoice. We cannot guarantee an updated
invoice can be sent in time for schools to have a check submitted for the
correct amount if changes are made after this date.
